With 25 years of accounting expertise, she adeptly navigates intricate company and trust structures in the relationship property pool. Cheryl’s knack for unraveling disparities and rectifying financial injustices stems from her belief in the narrative conveyed by numbers. Her astute business sense, coupled with her legal acumen, distinguishes her in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
At Alchemy Law, Cheryl exemplifies our commitment to excellence through her innovative approach to legal challenges. Specializing in family law, particularly relationship property disputes, prenuptial and separation agreements, and will disputes, Cheryl is dedicated to crafting practical solutions and preventing disputes from escalating.
Cheryl’s courtroom experience spans appearances in the Family Court, High Court, and the Court of Appeal.

Sam brings over a decade of valuable experience in the legal sector, offering exceptional secretarial support across various areas of law such as family, criminal, and residential conveyancing.
Known for her outstanding organisational skills, Sam takes great pride in delivering top-notch client service, ensuring that every task is approached with care and professionalism.
Beyond the office, Sam finds joy in spending quality time with her family.
Jillian Hemingway
CONVEYANCING PRACTITIONER
Jillian holds a conveyancing diploma and has expertise in residential, rural, commercial, and financing transactions.
She also offers assistance with boundary modifications (from cross lease to freehold), combining titles, and uncomplicated subdivisions.
Jillan operates permanently from her BOP home office as a registered conveyancing practitioner using cutting-edge technology and electronic filing systems to provide clients with a smooth and effective service.
Outside work, Jillian takes care of her elderly father, while also enjoying life with her husband, three children, and family dog. Running, reading, and treating herself to Rocky Road ice cream are her favourite ways to relax and re-energise at the end of a busy day.
Karandeep Basra

Karandeep is currently studying for a BCom, majoring in Accounting, Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of Auckland.
As an intern with Alchemy Law, Karandeep is enjoying the challenge of this field where his skill set is very well suited.
